Wrestling. Immensely popular in the States, yet practically unknown in the Netherlands. Whereas other American sports such as basketball or American football are pretty popular here, wrestling remains in a niche of its own. Is wrestling even a sport? The outcome of a match is scripted just like the bigger “spots” of a match, but it definetly takes lots of practice and effort to do it. As you might have noticed, this site changed quite significantly since the last time it was up there in cyberspace. As some of you might have also noticed, this is the first time I’m writing something in about 8 months. Quite some stuff has happened in the meantime and eventually I came to the conclusion to give this blog another try. Seeing as how friend and colleague Oppie can keep his webcomic (Cheap plug?
